I bought this car to be mine and redo it the way that has been redone the one you can see in the link below.
Have a look at what we can do there.
Once completed, this car will be brand new.
VIN : 860343
Engine : R4247-9
Body : V1954
Gear Box : EB3380JSO
Date built : 26 March 2026
According to the Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust Certificate, this early Series 1 3.8 RHD coupé has been dispatched new to Gilman & Co in Hong Kong on the 19th April 1962.
Its original colours were :
Exterior : Opalescent Dark Green
Interior : Suede Green
It was then in England (Swindon) and belonged to a member of the JEC who had begun to strip it and then abandoned its project.
It has been repainted at a certain point in its life to red with black interior.
The car was Completely Knocked Down when I bought it, which was not important as it was supposed to be totally rebuilt.
The car was sound and 99% complete.
All the glasses are there
All the mechanical parts are there

My intention was to rebuild completely the car to be as new and in the colours combination it left the factory. This restauration is lasting ages and I found a very similar car immediately useable, so I chose to sell 860343.
This car would have been as much original as can be, with a few safety improvements such as : an alternator, an electronic ignition, a leadfree engine, an stainless exhaust and so on.
A few things remain to do and, as usual, being the owner of this resto shop, my car comes after the others.
I happened to come across another car, the same configuration and immediately useable, so I decided to sell this one.
To have a brand new car, you’ll have to :
Check some chromes
Choose if you want to improve the car, such as improved brakes, electronic ignition... to a 5 speed gearbox.
Choose the colours you want
Paint it
Upholster it
Put the car together
Drive it home
These things remain up to the new owner.
You can buy and take the car or leave it for us to finish it the way you want.
